About Us

Thanks for stopping by to learn more about us! We're a husband and wife team - he's the artist (100%), while I handle the website and all that goes along with it. We started this little company to bring some truly original art to you that's not only for your wall - we like the idea of art-printed shirts that you're not going to find anywhere else!

None of the artwork you see here is computer-generated. Everything, whether it's a solid black design like our Dragon's Spine tees or something more colorful like the Red Widow, is drawn by hand. His favorite mediums are colored pencil, pencil, and ink pen - but he adds marker here and there, too, and likes to sculpt and paint every so often to keep his artistic senses sharp. Once the original artwork is done, we scan it and get it ready to be printed onto tees and posters. Sometimes he's willing to part with the original, too, but not always!

We've selected the best premium tees we could find with the best printing technology, and top quality poster paper, too. Our tees and posters ship pretty much worldwide straight from a printing professional! Original artwork comes straight from the artist's personal collection here in California.

And finally, a little information about the artist himself and what inspires his artwork!

He's never really been formally trained - he began his informal training at 5 years old, when he had a pencil put in his hand to draw something for his father, who was an artist, too. His father asked him, “Do you think you can do better than me?” With that challenge, he stunned his father by drawing a vivid, pencil-shaded dragon on a large piece of paper. His artistry began with a love of drawing surreal depictions of life, and this is exactly how his work continues to this day.

And for those of you who are really into art, here's what he says about his process and inspiration:

"My process is to keep a certain vibe in my mind to relate to while I am creating my depictions of the wild and vibrant side of life. While blending paint colors is relatively easy, blending with colored pencils requires more precision and thought, and the deep thought that goes into this is reflected in the meaning I see in my work.

My work is inspired by the hippie worldview of my mother. At the roots of my work, I followed the technical example of my father as an artist, but my art is based on choosing to display a love of life I learned from my mother over the harsh criticism of my father. I fell in love with being able to match art for art against other artists, whether it is drawing, or painting, or sculpting, or spray cans, or anything you can call art!"

And here he is with a work in progress (and yes, he wears hats *all the time*, even when he's drawing!):

We hope you enjoy what he's created and want to wear some of this art or put it on your wall! We'd also love to hear from you - please see the Contact Us page to get in touch!
